I'm Katherine (Katie) Chao, a licensed REALTOR® with eXp Realty and a real estate investor based in Greater Vancouver. My journey into real estate started long before I became a realtor - as an investor myself. I spent years learning how to evaluate properties, study markets, and identify strong opportunities that balanced financial growth with lifestyle needs. That foundation is what allows me to help my clients see beyond the surface and make decisions that build equity and long-term value.
From Teacher to Realtor
Before real estate, I worked in education. That experience still shapes how I serve clients today. I know buying or selling a home can feel overwhelming, especially for first-time buyers or families going through big changes. My teaching background allows me to simplify the process, break it down step by step, and ensure my clients always feel clear, confident, and supported.
